Speaker Bio: Joel A. Middleton is an Assistant Professor in the Political Science Department at UC Berkeley and a trained sampling statistician, survey methodologist and experimental research designer. His interests in statistics is in the extension of tools developed for sampling design and inference to randomized experiments. His research in political behavior uses survey and field experiments to answer longstanding questions in the field of political science.
