Associated Press on Middle Class Status Slippage

Five years ago, the recession eliminated 8.7 million jobs, many of those middle income. On April 2, Tracy Brown of Associated Press aired the story, ”More American’s See Middle Class Staus Slipping,” asking ISPS Director, Jacob Hacker, what does it mean to be middle class.

“Middle class is more than an income catagory,” Hacker says. “It’s an aspiration, a way of life.”
