Jared Milfred, 2016 Rhodes Scholar

ISPS Director’s Fellow, Jared Milfred, is one of three Yalies to be chosen as a 2016 Rhodes Scholar. Jared was in the inaugural 2014 class of ISPS Director’s Fellows Program in Domestic Policy, and worked on issues such as voting equality, campaign finance, egalitarian political philosophy, and nuclear energy policy. He is the founder and executive director of Democracy United, an organization working to increase the fairness, accessibility, and transparency of government. Jared also writes for several campus publications and volunteers as an Emergency Medical Technician.
