Amanda Kowalski Awarded the Arthur Greer Memorial Prize

Amanda Kowalski, Associate Professor of Economics and ISPS Faculty Fellow, was recently awarded the Arthur Greer Memorial Prize for Outstanding Scholarly Publication in the natural or social sciences. Professor Kowalski is a health economist who specializes in bringing together theoretical models and econometric techniques to answer questions that inform current debates in health policy.
 
The Greer Award specifically mentioned her recently published paper in the American Economic Review,  “Adverse Selection and an Individual Mandate: When Theory Meets Practice,“ which also won the Annual NIHCM Research Award in 2016. In 2014, she won the CAREER award from the National Science Foundation.
