Jacob Hacker to Speak on Small State, Big Debate: Inequality

Jacob Hacker, ISPS Director, will speak at the Connecticut Mirror’s signature event, Small State, Big Debate: Inequality on April 29, 2014 at the University of Hartford.

As issues of poverty, family strength, and access to quality education shape the economic and social  health of Connecticut, the future of our state's workforce and fiscal stability depends on prudent policy decisions and strategic investments.

The one-day event will feature speakers, expert panel discussions, data engagement sessions, presentations from students who participated in “Improve CT: My View” and a hackathon where programmers are tasked with creating a desktop/mobile application or API (application programming interface) that will try improve life now and for future generations....
