“Talk reproducibility with Brian Nosek at ISPS”

SPECIAL ISPS EVENT AS PART OF THE 2016 YALE DAY OF DATA

How will you make sure your research is open and reproducible? Graduate students, Postdocs, and interested Faculty are invited to join us for a lively conversation with professor Brian Nosek, Professor of Psychology at the University of Virginia and co-founder of the Center for Open Science, about open science and research transparency. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions, engage in dialogue, and learn about how to develop good habits and workflows that will help make your research reproducible and enhance your impact.

Allan Dafoe, Assistant Professor in Political Science at Yale and winner of the 2015 Leamer-Rosenthal Prizes for Open Social Science, awarded to early-career researchers who adopt transparent research practices or pioneer new methods to increase the rigor of research, will moderate the conversation.

The event is part of the 2016 Yale Day of Data. Please note that Professor Nosek will also be giving a talk at the Psychology Department on December 1 which is open to the public.
