EP&E LITOWITZ LECTURE SERIES

Yale’s Program on Ethics, Politics and Economics (EP&E) is hosting the 2018 Robert H. Litowitz Lecture featuring guest speaker David Auerbach, co-founder of Sanergy, a company dedicated to designing and manufacturing low-cost, high-quality sanitation facilities that provide hygienic and sustainable solutions for treating human waste in under-developed areas of the world. David is responsible for raising capital, business development, and building partnerships at Sanergy. Previously, David worked at Ignia Fund in Mexico and ran Partnerships, Policy, and Outreach at Endeavor. He was the Deputy Chair for Poverty Alleviation at the Clinton Global Initiative in 2005-2006, and taught in China for two years. David is a Legatum Fellow, a Rainer Arnhold Fellow, and an Echoing Green Fellow. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and a BA with distinction from YaleUniversity.

The Litowitz Fund sponsors teaching in the major as well as the Litowitz Lecturer, who is appointed each year to speak to EP&E faculty and students on ethical and religious dimensions of social policy.
