ISPS 50th Anniversary Celebration: 1968-2018

The Institution for Social and Policy Studies (ISPS) at Yale University is celebrating its 50th anniversary.  To mark this milestone the ISPS community past and present will gather on December 13, 2018 to reunite, reminisce, and recognize the extraordinary work that ISPS has produced over the past half century.

The Yale Corporation established the Institution for Social and Policy Studies in 1968 to stimulate interdisciplinary collaboration within the university.  From the beginning, ISPS had a threefold mission: to produce cutting-edge scholarship on important social problems, to train the next generation of academic and policy leaders, and to inform the ways in which policymakers tackle critical challenges facing our country.  For fifty years, the ISPS community of students and scholars has been making contributions to academic discourse and encouraging reasoned policy debate and formulation through a variety of programs, centers, seminars, publications, research initiatives, and fellowships, as well as by engaging directly with public and private leaders themselves.

Please celebrate this great tradition with us.
