As a Dahl Fellow, Michael Zanger-Tishler coauthored with Professors Vesla Weaver and Andrew Papachristos on the article “A Generation Exposed: Examining the Links between Criminal Offending and Criminal Justice Contact.” The article appeared in an upcoming issue of the Russell Sage Foundation Journal, a peer-reviewed social science journal. 

Currently, Michael is an intern for Data Haven, a public policy research non-profit. The work is funded through the Dwight Hall Urban Fellowship, a program designed to help students gain exposure to urban challenges and work with community professionals to find real solutions. He has worked organizing and researching their Community Wellbeing Survey data, and has writtten an op-ed about evidence-based policy making for CT Viewpoints, an online Connecticut public policy platform.
