Health Insurance and the Presidential Campaign: A Podcast

May 13, 2019

Jacob Hacker is a guest on Warren Olney’s KCRW radio show, “Health Insurance and the Presidential Campaign.”  With New York Times health journalist Margot Sanger-Katz and former health insurance executive Wendell Potter, the show breaks down all the different terms that the Democratic presidential candidates use for their health policy proposals, i.e., the difference between Medicare for All vs. Medicare for America; or the difference between socialized medicine, such as the UK’s NIH system and Canada’s independently delivered health care system also called Medicare.
