ISPS Welcomes New Director’s Fellows

February 17, 2020

The Institution for Social and Policy Studies is pleased to announce its new cohort of Director’s Fellows in Domestic Policy.  Fifteen Yale college students were selected for the 2020 calendar year.  This year’s group notably includes the student president of Yale College, the managing editor of the Yale Daily News, and a New Haven Ward I Alder. The Fellows’ interests are a range of policy-related topics from energy and environment, reparations, and sex trafficking to drug policy/opioid crisis, immigration, rural infrastructure, housing reform, local issues, and tax policy.

The Fellows are a vital component of ISPS and part of the larger initiative of the collaborative Policy Lab workspace. The one-year fellowship provides our students with a chance to meet with well-known policy experts and sharpen their research, writing, and presentation skills.
