Rick joined ISPS in 2022 to apply his seven prior years at Yale and two decades of experience as a reporter to advancing the center’s communications goals. He received an MA in journalism from New York University and a BA in psychology from Cornell University. Rick became a journalist because he wanted an opportunity to learn for a living and pass on what he learned to others. And he loves that he can now learn and share the latest scientific findings to establish the necessary data-based guideposts for reasonable policy debate.
