Professor of Epidemiology/Public Health and Economics

Dr. Sindelar is a professor of public health and a health economist at the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH) and Immediate Past Chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management within YSPH. In addition, she is a Research Associate at the National Bureau Economic Research, is a Research Fellow at IZA (Institute for the Study of Labor) an Associated Faculty at the Institution for Social and Policy Studies at Yale, and has been the President of the American Society of Health Economists (ASHEcon).

Pelatiah Perit Professor of Political & Social Science

Stephen Skowronek is the Pelatiah Perit Professor of Political and Social Science at Yale University.  He is currently the Wynant Visiting Professor at the Rothermere American Institute, Balliol College Oxford.  He has been a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and has held the Chair in American Civilization at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris.

Deputy Provost for Health Affairs; Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences; Lecturer in Public Health

Dr. Spangler joined the Office of the Provost in 1995 and serves as provostial liaison for the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health, Yale University Health Services, the Office of Environmental Health and Safety, and other health and biomedical units. She also oversees the Provost’s Office of Academic Integrity, established in 2011, working with colleagues throughout the University to fortify and consolidate programs and procedures relating to academic integrity. Additionally, she is charged with leadership of University-wide Title IX compliance and related initiatives.

Britany Torrez Graduate Policy Fellow 2021

Brittany Torrez is a 3rd year doctoral student in Organizational Behavior at the Yale School of Management. Her research examines the psychological processes that contribute to the reproduction of race and class inequality in the workplace. Currently, her work investigates ways to implement effective diversity and inclusion policies in organizations to promote intraminority solidarity and support for Black employees.

Macklin Fleming Prof of Law; Professor of Psychology; Professor of Management

Tom R. Tyler is the Macklin Fleming Professor of Law and Professor of Psychology at Yale Law School. He is also a professor (by courtesy) at the Yale School of Management. He joined the Yale Law faculty in January 2012 as a professor of law and psychology. He was previously a University Professor at New York University, where he taught in both the psychology department and the law school. Prior to joining NYU in 1997, he taught at the University of California, Berkeley, and at Northwestern University.

Professor Nisheeth Vishnoi’s research spans several areas of theoretical computer science: from approximability of NP-hard problems, to combinatorial, convex and non-convex optimization, to tackling algorithmic questions involving dynamical systems, stochastic processes, and polynomials.
