CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF INEQUALITY

SPIRE (Symposium on the Politics of Immigration, Race, and Ethnicity) is an annual one-day conference that rotates among universities.  Its purpose is to provide a constructively critical space in which faculty and graduate students can workshop their in-progress research on the politics of immigration, race, and ethnicity.  The conference also provides opportunities for networking and mentoring among scholars at all career stages who are working on these topics.

The next symposium will be hosted on the Yale University campus by the Yale Center for the Study of Inequality (CSI) at the Institution for Social and Policy Studies on Friday, September 29, 2023.
