Advancing Open Scholarship at Yale

DATA-INTENSIVE SOCIAL SCIENCE CENTER (DISSC)
Yale is a member of the Higher Education Leadership Initiative for Open Scholarship (HELIOS), a cohort of colleges and universities committed to collective action to advance open scholarship. Open scholarship (sometimes called “open science” or “open research”) is an expansive term meant to encompass the rapid and widespread sharing of a range of scholarly activities and outputs, across disciplines. Open scholarship promotes inclusivity, transparent and trustworthy research, innovation, and collaboration.
In this panel discussion, HELIOS representative Greg Tananbaum and Yale researchers from across the disciplines will discuss how open research practices are shifting research cultures and what this means for Yale.
This event is free but registration is required. Register using this link.
Lunch will be provided to all participants who register by November 8.
Open to: Yale Faculty, Postdoctoral Trainees, Graduate and Professional Students, Undergraduate Students, Staff
