Welcome to the new ISPS website!
Welcome to the new ISPS website!
The Institution for Social and Policy Studies has been a part of the Yale community since 1968, fostering social science research on pressing public issues and social problems. In the last few years, we have been building a variety of new initiatives to support scholarship and teaching around Yale in the broad area of domestic public policy.
To better share information with you, we are starting off the new year (and the new semester) by relaunching our website. The revamped site is designed not only to serve as ISPS’s public face but also to provide a place where our broader community – students, scholars, policymakers, and the general public – can connect and collaborate.
On this site, you will find new elements including:
1. The Lux et Data Blog : The ISPS blog will feature posts from the director, faculty, policy fellows, graduate students, and other affiliates. The goal for this “group blog” is to communicate with the broader community about the work of ISPS.
2. Areas of Study : Content on the website will be tagged by specialty, so users can easily find faculty, publications, data, policy briefs, etc.
3. Improved KnowledgeBase including publications, projects and the ISPS Data Archive.
The site features many other new functions as well.
We encourage you to explore our programs and areas of study, and to check back frequently for new publications and events!
