Jacob Hacker Discusses the New Retirement Savings Program on WNPR
President Obama has recently proposed MyRA, a program that would help lower-income Americans save for their retirement. The state of Connecticut has taken the idea one step further by creating their own version of a retirement savings plan that would be held in a trust and managed by the state Treasurer and a board of trustees.
This morning on WNPR’s Where We Live, Jacob Hacker discussed the benefits of these two programs and the likelihood of them being implemented. Hosted by John Dankowsky.
