Celene Reynolds, a graduate student in Sociology, has received the National Academy of Education/Spencer Dissertation award. The fellowship provides a stipend of $27,500 to support her final year of writing her dissertation, in addition to attending development retreats.  Her dissertation is on how Title IX’s focus has shifted over the decades, from addressing the inequities of funding collegiate women’s sports to sexual harassment on colleges campuses.
