Jacob Hacker Receives NASI Award

The National Association of Social Insurance has announced that ISPS Director Jacob Hacker has recieved the 2020 Robert M. Ball Award. NASI writes in their press release that Hacker is “one of the most innovated voices in the contemporary discourse on American social policy.

As American voters and leaders continue to grapple with how we as a society provide access to affordable, high-quality health coverage and care, while also constraining health care spending, Professor Hacker is recognized for his profoundly influential research and writings on health policy, especially his development of the public option.
