Randomization procedure:
All subjects were then randomly assigned to a control group (no information about inequality) or one of several inequality-related treatments using the Lucid platform
Treatment:
Control groups: no information about inequality. The treatment groups differed in each of the study arm (Pilot Study, Study One, and Study Two). There were there were three types of treatments. First, the" pay differences statistic treatment" provided just a statistic about pay inequality. Second, the fairness treatment consisted of detailed information about two jobs at different points along the income distribution (Study Two, Study Three). Third, Finally, the "combined treatment" combined the content from the first two treatments (Pilot Study, Study One, Study Two).
