The conference will bring together a group of scholars to focus on how experiments can effectively be used to study the behavior of political elites. The researchers will present existing studies that will help highlight the opportunities and obstacles of experimentation with elite samples.
The conference will begin with lunch on the first day and will include the presentation of a number of completed projects. The second day of the conference will provide more of a workshop environment, with several researchers presenting research proposals for feedback from attendees. The conference is also designed to provide lots of time for attendees to interact and share ideas.
The event is being organized by Daniel Butler, Assistant Professor of Political Science and Resident Fellow at the Institution for Social and Policy Studies (ISPS) at Yale University.
