206 congressional districts in 28 states
Inclusion/exclusion: 
The overall sample included the population of congressional races with contested incumbents seeking reelection in November 2006. We excluded competitive races, districts in states for which data about prior history of Hispanic voters was unavailable, and congressional districts that were mainly located in the Los Angeles or New York City media markets.
Randomization procedure: 
A total of 36 districts were randomly selected to be treated, and the remaining districts became the control group.
Treatment: 
A 60-second radio advertisements that presented nonpartisan get-out-the-vote message to listeners, broadcasted from October 31 to November 6, 2006. Voters in each district were urged to vote on Election Day, and the ads included the names, incumbency status, and party affiliations of the major-party candidates in each race.

The change in Hispanic turnout between the November 2002 and November 2006 midterm elections for each congressional district.
