Undergraduate Director’s Fellows

Jack Dozier is a junior in Yale College studying towards a BA/MA in political science, which a certificate in journalism. He is the Director of the Yale Youth Poll, a national research poll studying the additudes of young Americans, which is housed at the ISPS and is a reader for The Yale Review. His studies focus primarily on public opinion research and American political parties. He is from North Garden, Virginia, and is in Saybrook College.

Birikti Kahsai is a junior in Branford double majoring in Black Studies and History. She is interested in housing policy and particularly in the creation of more robust tenant protections at the local and federal level. On campus, Birikti serves on the boards of the Black Student Alliance, Branford College Council, and Urban Improvement Corps.

Isobel McClure is a sophomore at Yale College, pursuing a major in English literature, with a concentration in French. She is interested in campaign finance practices and regulation, as well as the intersection between state and federal government. Her coursework also includes German language and political science studies. Outside of the classroom, Isobel covers University policy and finances as a reporter at the Yale Daily News. She currently serves as the newspaper’s head copy editor.

Sooah Park is a junior in Ezra Stiles College studying Political Science with a Global Health Studies certificate. She is interested in the political climate surrounding reproductive and women’s health policy in the U.S., particularly its interactions with partisanship and healthcare accessibility. She has been involved in YaleBleeds, Community Health Educators, and Yale Students for Reproductive Rights to advocate for expansive and inclusive reproductive health policy.
