Ian Turner is Assistant Professor of Political Science, a Resident Fellow in the Institution of Social and Policy Studies and the Center for the Study of American Politics, and a Faculty Affiliate of the Leitner Program in International and Comparative Political Economy at Yale University. Prior to joining the Yale faculty, he was an Assistant Professor of Political Science and Co-director of the Political Institutions/Political Behavior Research Program at Texas A&M University. He received his PhD in political science from Washington University in St.

Sherrie Wang is a sophomore majoring in Political Science and a Human Rights Scholar of the Schell Center.  She is interested in health policy, with an eye towards promoting value-based care that is grounded in health equity and community engagement. She works with the MOMS Partnership at the Yale Child Study Center, where she has researched mental health policy and family-oriented care as an approach to breaking the cycle of poverty. As a Yale Policy Lab Fellow, she teams with DreamKit to study technology’s application in ending youth homelessness.

Jennifer Wu is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science. She is interested in political behavior, public opinion, and representation of voter preferences. Her MSc thesis examined the issue of voter suppression and preferences for franchise extension via a game theoretic framework. Prior to starting the PhD, Jen worked as a statistician in ISPS Health studying the political economy of healthcare. Jen holds a MSc Economics from University College London and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently the Manager of the ISPS Behavioral Research Lab.
