Jason Schwartz

Jason L. Schwartz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Yale School of Public Health. His research examines vaccines and vaccination policy, decision-making in medical regulation and public health policy, and the structure and function of scientific expert advice to government. The overall focus of his work is on the ways in which evidence is interpreted, evaluated, and translated into regulation and policy in medicine and public health.

Lisa Gale Suter, M.D. is a Professor of Medicine in the Section of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, continuously board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology since 2001 and 2003, respectively.

Mary Tinetti
Gladys Phillips Crofoot Professor of Medicine (Geriatrics)

Dr. Tinetti is the Gladys Philips Crofoot Professor of Medicine and Public Health at Yale School of Medicine. Her current research and clinical focus is on clinical decision-making for older adults in the face of multiple health conditions, measuring the net benefit and harms of commonly used medications, and the importance of cross-disease universal health outcomes.

Jacob Wallace
Assistant Professor of Public Health (Health Policy)

Jacob Wallace is an Assistant Professor of Public Health (Health Policy) at the Yale School of Public Health whose primary research interest is Medicaid. He is a health economist by training and received his Ph.D. from Harvard University. Prior to that he worked as a policy analyst for the New York State Department of Health in the Office of Health Insurance Programs for three years. His research is focused on the economics of the Medicaid program, with a particular focus on the impact of managed care.

Xiao Xu
Associate Professor of Medicine (Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences)

Dr. Xiao Xu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine, and a faculty member of Yale Cancer Center and Yale Cancer Outcomes, Public Policy and Effectiveness Research Center (COPPER). As a health economist and health services researcher, her work seeks to promote the delivery of high-quality and high-value care. Her research focuses on examining and identifying factors that influence the quality, outcomes, and value of care, with a focus on women’s health care.

Reza Yaesoubi
Associate Professor of Public Health (Health Policy)

Dr. Yaesoubi’s research focuses on medial decision making and model-based evaluation of health policies. His work incorporates mathematical and computer simulation models, machine learning methods, and optimization techniques to guide resource allocation and decision making in public health and health delivery systems.
