Sam Zacher,

Sam Zacher is a 3rd-year political science PhD student studying American political economy, the influence of organized groups, and climate politics. Outside of school, he engages in local political organizing, co-edits The Trouble magazine, and enjoys playing basketball. 

Asst. Prof Emma Zang

Emma Zang, Assistant Professor of Sociology and East Asian Studies

Emma Zang’s research interests lie at the intersection of health and aging, marriage and family, and inequality. Her work aims to improve the understanding of 1) how early-life conditions affect later-life health outcomes; 2) social stratification and health; 3) spillover effects within the household exploiting policy changes.

Michael Zanger-Tishler, Dahl Scholar, 2016-2017

As a Dahl Fellow, Michael Zanger-Tishler coauthored with Professors Vesla Weaver and Andrew Papachristos on the article “A Generation Exposed: Examining the Links between Criminal Offending and Criminal Justice Contact.” The article appeared in an upcoming issue of the Russell Sage Foundation Journal, a peer-reviewed social science journal.

Elizabeth Zietz, ISPS Director's Fellow, 2021

Elizabeth Zietz is a junior majoring in Statistics and Data Science. She has conducted research on housing policy for the National Homelessness Law Center and edited scholarship on misinformation as a fellow of the Yale Law School Information Society Project. On campus, Elizabeth is an editor of the Yale Review of International Studies, Co-President of the Yale Undergraduate Piano Collective, and former Executive Director of YHack, Yale’s annual hackathon.
